The International Exposition held in 2008, which was themed around “Water and Sustainable Development”, was located in the Ranillas meander of the River Ebro. The scope included: urban development and services of the site with a land area of 35 ha, urban development of Ronda del Rabal, Avenida Ranillas, northern and southern car parks with a capacity for 11,000 vehicles, theme squares, jetty, amphitheatre, waterfront, entrances to the Expo site, pergola, provision of services to participants' buildings, including fire protection network and medium voltage electricity supply, transformers, LV distribution and 20 emergency generator sets with a total available capacity of 4,540 KVA, plant-covered roofs and escalators, among others. In total, more than 40 contracts were coordinated to a total amount of over €160 million.
