Located in Zaragoza, with an extension of 240 ha and an approximate population of 30,000, the Valdespartera ecocity is internationally recognised as one of the key examples in Europe in the area of sustainable, urban development thanks to its integrating planning, provision of amenities, green spaces and bioclimatic architecture. Key infrastructures include a 32 km road network, distributed in 60 streets, 14.4 km of bicycle lanes, 45 km of water supply network, supply tanks of 11,000 m3, flood storage pools of 6,000 m3, flood storage ponds of 90,000 m3 and 60 km of sewerage network.
