The River Huerva flows into the River Ebro in the city of Zaragoza, crossing the right bank and running past some of its most iconic sites. The Master Plan establishes a strategic and unitary view of the river at its passage through the city, and includes landscape, hydrological and urban structuring criteria. It involves studies and solutions for discharges, analysis of the natural ecosystem, proposals for transport interchange plazas and management methods, in order to turn the river and its banks into the major north-south axis of the city along its most consolidated route, and a green way linking the city to riverside villages.
